Is this good or bad news? No idea at all… We will just have to wait and see...

The government will announce on Wednesday a new fuel subsidy... According to the prime minister, the decision on the fuel subsidy will take effect immediately to avoid any speculation...

The increase in fuel prices is in line with the structuring of the new mechanism for the fuel subsidy scheme enjoyed by the people now... The total subsidy borne by the government for petrol, diesel and LPG this year was expected to reach RM56 billion...

It seemed like many cars were driving around hunting for diesel and later many came to this petrol station waiting to get their vehicle fueled... When will this ever end? There are unscrupulous people around... Sigh... I was in outstation...

The Gambier Street hawkers’ relocation programme to Stutong Community Market (SCM) (near Tabuan Laru) will be carried out on 15 June... Same as Tabuan Jaya Market...

Relocation of the hawkers was decided upon as the Gambier market was overcrowded and had caused a number of problems like pollution of the Sarawak River by the waste water from the market, unhygienic practices of the hawkers resulting in bad odour as well as unpleasant sight and traffic congestion in the area...

SCM, a centralised market, boasts of huge trading space, cleanliness as well as ample parking spaces for both hawkers and shoppers...
